If you're going to purchase anything today, let it be this: A pair of Bombas athletic socks. Founded two years ago, Bombas is a line of socks that, as the company says, are designed to "look better and feel better." They use Peruvian Pima Cotton fabric that stays cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and absorbs moisture better than traditional cotton. They also have what's called an "Invisitoe", which basically means there are no annoying seams by the toe. Woop!

But perhaps the best thing about these socks is that they also help the homeless. Believe it or not, "socks are the most requested clothing items at homeless shelters," as per Major George Hood, Chief Communications Officer for the Salvation Army. With a little help from Indiegogo, a crowdfunding platform, Bombas has decided that for every pair purchased, one will be donated to those less fortunate. We all need socks—no one wants smelly feet—so why not kill two birds with one stone and re-up on the accessory and be a Good Samaritan, too?

The socks are available in Jet Black of Heather Grey, each one accented with one of four colors. As of right now, the way it works is you can pre-order the socks by choosing a perk package. There are 10 to pick from, so there's one for every person and every budget. For $24 you can pick any three socks and three will be donated to the homeless. You can also buy a package to have socks for every day of the week, or two pairs every month for the rest of your life.

Head over to indiegogo.com now to pre-order.
