Thank the Trap Lords, the Black Scale summer 2013 lookbook has been unveiled. The Bay Area-based brand has always been consistent on presenting its collections. This one still follows a dark and edgy theme, but with a strange twist that’s hard to wrap your mind around. If models hanging off swings attached to a pentagram-tagged wall in the sky isn’t strange, we don’t’ know what is.
On the other hand, the collection is solid. Button-downs, tees, tanks, and accessories make up most of the collection. Highlights include all-over prints, stripes, and color-blocked options—all of which stand out from the gloomy background. Select pieces are available now on the Black Scale website. And don’t try to rattle your brain too much on finding the hidden meaning, because you might miss out on your favorite items.
