Some of the best hotels may boast impressive architecture, but not many house an art collection as well. The Joule Hotel in Dallas, Texas has just gone through a staggering $78 million dollar renovation and expansion, not only to improve its facilities and design, but also to revamp its space with works from art stars on display.
The Joule's amenities include a subterranean spa, a yoga studio, a rooftop pool, a TASCHEN library, and boutiques from Traffic LA and TenOverSix, not to mention fresh penthouse suites. Although these expansions are fit for a king, we're most excited about the hotel's newly acquired art collection. Throughout the Joule's various spaces, museum-grade pieces can be seen from renowned artists including Andy Warhol, Richard Phillips, Tony Cragg, Adam Fuss, and the Cuban-based artists' collective Los Carpinteros. Works from young artists such as Noam Rappaport and Rosana Castrillo Diaz are also on display, spicing up the hotel's atmosphere.
