Something about Anthem brings back memories of streetwear from the early 2000s. It's no surprise that some of the creatives behind the brand are streetwear vets who have worked on brands such as Boundless NY and King Stampede. Inspired by sound, the idea behind each graphic is a loose representation of noise. Though small, the debut line sticks out thanks to its nostalgic vibe and simple yet effective illustrations.
It’s refreshing to see a new brand taking a different direction than what’s trending these days. Keep these guys on your radar. Currently there are only 7 pieces available composed of hats, sunglasses, and T-shirts. All are available now on the PVLG NYC website.
