Rochester-based metal sculptor Albert Paley has added some much needed flavor to Park Avenue for the summer with the installation of 13 abstract metal sculptures at various intersections. The sculptures weigh between 2.5 and 7.5 tons each, with the tallest towering over the busy street at 21-feet-high and the widest measuring close to 40-feet from end to end.

750 pieces of molded-steel were used to create these sculptures and each was custom-made to fit its surroundings. Between now and November 8, the next time you find yourself in a taxi speeding through the Upper East Side, take your eyes off of Candy Crush long enough to view these vibrant pieces of public art.
