Mini golf courses are always fascinating for their creative designs, but until now, people were probably hesitant to call them art. The Walker Art Center presents a summer project titled "Walker on the Green," marking the 25th anniversary of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden by incorporating two eight-hole courses of putt-putt golf into the space. The product of a collaboration among artists, architects, and engineers, including students from the University of Minnesota, the mini golf courses embrace sculptural designs that guarantee both optimal form and function. Among many eccentric holes, the courses include a stop resembling a garden gnome foosball table and a miniature model of a French chateau.

The courses will be open until September 8, so get your art and golf on at the same damn time (while you can).
