Cologne designer Thomas Schnur is without a doubt an incredible product designer, but what catches most peoples' eye is his affinity for working with an unlikely material: rubber. Recently creating a rubber table, Schnurr has since designed rubber lamps encased with a special heat resistant silicon shell.

Making their way through Milan last month, at Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the lamps have since traveled to Object for the Neighbour in Cologne, Germany for The International Furnishing Show alongside a set of room dividers also designed by Schnur. The lamps are not only soft to the touch, but easy on the eyes, and have a simple and clean design. Congrats to Schnur for the recognition in his work, good design wins.
