Milan, Paris and New York get all the shine when it comes to the global fashion week scene, but the designers kicking off the S/S 14 season in London are offering up enough quality garments to cement their city as a hub of forward-thinking menswear innovation. Notably absent is the suffocating rigidness typically associated with Savile Row tailoring, as heavy drape and monochromatic color schemes dominated the first batch of showings. Also, in the currently piping hot spirit of anti-establishment (NOT FOR SALE), the fact that the best collections are stemming from unknowns and up-and-comers like Spencer Hary, Christopher Kane, Lou Dalton and Agi & Sam has us gassed up. Above, we select our favorite looks thus far from this new crop of creatives, so down the line you can brag to all your fashion friends that you knew about it first.
