Curator and founder of the film program at Tate Modern since 2004, Stuart Comer officially became the curator of New Media and Performance Art at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) today. Comer is also currently the co-curator of the Whitney Museum of American Art 2014 Biennial. In a statement to the New York Times, Comer said that this is "an exciting opportunity to further develop [MoMA's] programs in collaboration with artists, audiences, colleagues." We are excited to see what programming Comer brings to the museum in the near future.
