It's hard to tell if high-low collaborations are going to work, but we have a feeling this one's bound to be awesome: adidas has connected with Rick Owens to design a collection of running sneakers. We've seen Raf Simons co-design running sneakers with adidas recently, but the Rick Owens collection appears to be something totally different—which is exactly what you'd expect. Owens has decided to stay within his familiar color palette of, well, not much color at all. The sneakers will be a mix of black, white, grey, pearl, and bone.
There aren't any images of the collabo yet, but Owens plans to unveil the collection at his Paris fashion show on June 27.
