I always loved Saturdays' designs because they don't put too much pressure on me to decide whether or not the product is going to look dumb with the other things I already own. Their clothes are always super simple and don't incorporate more than one or maybe two ideas at most, which really speaks to their pedigree as graphic designers, before fashion designers. They're minimal, but without all the pretentious dickishness that usually surrounds it. Take this short-sleeved number from the brand's new summer collection. Big polka dots are really the only thing going on here, considering both colors used are just a light and dark version of blue. And since blue goes with everything, that means this shirt will go with everything, while the polka dots mean you won't be THAT guy who buys expensive basics and then brags to his friends about the wonders of "minimalism".
