Today's the first day of summer, it's also national Go Skateboarding Day. For now, we're couped up in the office, but we're chomping at the bit to get a hit of fresh air and cruise down our favorite city streets. If you're in the same predicament as us, why not fill your day with a little bit of skateboarding greatness?

Long before he was that cool, old guy that hung out with Odd Future, Jason Dill was cemented as a skateboarding legend. His eccentric part in Alien Workshop's Photosynthesis, when he was a frizzy-haired guy, clearing massive stair sets, was simply just the tipping point for his style.

The skater and style icon linked up with Thrasher Magazine, and, like everything Dill does, had a "fucking awesome" conversation about how he's surprised and impressed that he's influenced young kids to dress a certain way. "I got a whole bunch of motherfuckin' kids tuckin' their shirts in and it touches my heart," Dill said. "I love it. Especially like some young, nine-year-old brothers skating up with their shirts tucked in, like, "Yo. What's up?" I fuckin' love it."

Dill even discusses why cuffing your pants the right amount can amp-up your personality to unforeseen heights. "If you have your cuff up a little bit you catch a bit of your sock. You get sock color, shoe color, pant color. Boom," Dill said.
