Greats Looks to Become Your Next Go-To Sneaker

The next "great" sneaker brand? Maybe.

None

Finding a pair of go-to sneakers can be a tough task. You want something simple, you can wear with everything, and won't break your bank. But you also don't want to to wear the same thing as everyone else. Well, there's soon to be a new option in town. Greats, from the minds of Jon Buscemi (one of the founders behind Gourmet) and Ryan Babenzien (the man responsible for Boast's resurgence), is looking to make a consumer-direct product that will be sold exclusively from an online platform. The brand wants to offer newer, more fashion-forward make-ups of some of the sneaker world's most recognized silhouettes, at a price that allows consumers to make their purchases a no-brainer. Greats just isn't looking to become your favorite sneaker brand; it's looking to change the sneaker game. Offering more models in a shorter span than any brand.

Greats will launch for back-to-school 2013, so expect big things from the brand. Also, Nick Wooster is looking to get involved as the brand's resident stylist, offering advice along the way. Stay posted to the brand's website for more details.
