Gaze Activated Dresses Will Let Wearers Know When Perverts Are Staring (Video)

Or admiring.

It’s the 21st century and people are on top of their innovations. The latest in anti-creep protection for the ladies comes from our neighbors to the north. A Montreal-based fashion company has invented a gaze-activated dress that responds to people who stare. Wait, what? How?

Dezeen magazine reports that the dresses are “embedded with eye-tracking technology that responds to an observer’s gaze by activating tiny motors to move parts of the dresses in mesmerising patterns.” Once the dress senses someone gazing, it’s pre-programed to start fluttering. So this means it doesn’t matter if someone is simply admiring or straight up creeping, the dress does not discriminate. Ladies can now throw these on with hairy leg stockings if they don’t want to be bothered by lame pick-up lines all night.
