Colorful Origami Street Art in France by Mademoiselle Maurice

A rainbow of over 30,000 handmade pieces.

As a part of the 2013 ARTAQ Festival, French artist Mademoiselle Maurice requested help from hundreds to school children, inmates, and other residents of Angers, France to create and install over 30,000 pieces of colorful origami. The first installation was a portrait along the river Maine, the second a geometric composition on the fence of a cathedral, and the third was a long trail of shapes on either side of the grand staircase at Montée St-Maurice.
