Some things just go together—Kanye and Jay-Z, chambray and black jeans, gold watches and gold chains—the list goes on. Obviously, the same sort of pairs exist within our everyday foods. Photographer Beth Galton specializes in food photography and recently created a conceptual series where food and its famous counterpart are composed alongside one another.
The series titled "Idioms" not only explores the food and drinks we eat together, but if looked at carefully, spells out some of the more famous food idioms we all know and love. The composition may seem simple and playful, but Galton's artistic intentions are quite complex.
