When Rihanna’s first fashion collection for River Island hit stores, pieces didn’t even have a chance to hang on the racks before fans snagged them up. Either you were copping for your girl or your girl was copping for herself. Riri’s already working on the next fall/winter 2013 collection, but the Navy will also have a summer collection to hold them off until then.
If you thought co-designer Adam Selman was doing all the work behind-the-scenes, you are sadly mistaken. Ms. Fenty didn’t let her hectic tour schedule get in the way for a chance to put in her two cents on a collection with her name on it. After all, these are clothes she would want to wear herself.
River Island has just released a video to give a behind-the-scenes look at her design process. The singer is not afraid to have an opinion.
