Danish architects Kristoffer Tejlgaard and Benny Jepsen have created the "Dome of Visions" in Copenhagen, Denmark to publicize ideas of sustainable housing and building. Covered in a thin, transparent, and breathable material, the geodesic dome features panels of CNC-cut polycarbonate and functions as a greenhouse for various bushes, trees, planted vegetables, and herbs. The structure includes an irrigation system and an oven with a horizontal chimney that provides heating for the space. A wooden construction containing a studio, conference room, and terrace is also housed by the dome, which hosts a range of events dedicated to sustainable housing.
