San Francisco's Gauntlet Gallery will be opening an art show with works inspired by Daft Punk on May 21, just after the electronic music duo releases their highly anticipated fourth album, Random Access Memories on May 18.
Visitors will be able to see over 40 paintings, sculptures, and photos that play off of Daft Punk's aesthetic and mystique. As most fans know, they are somewhat mysterious, and very few images of the two members actually exist. Consequently, the works, as you can see above, present a wide range of interpretations. One depicts a manga-robo scene, another shows a kitten on a Daft Punk signature helmet. The gallery speaks to the influence Daft Punk has generated over the years.
