When you're on a beach in the beaming sun, the last thing you want to see is something shiny...unless it's on someone as beautiful as Samantha Gradoville. She poses in studs, metallic materials, and not much else for Thomas Cooksey in the June issue of Vogue Latin America. Naturally (because of the materials) lighting plays a major role in the shoot. The photos are lit just enough so that everything in the frame is illuminated and the beach scene is convincing, but not too much where the light would reflect off of the surfaces and cause unwanted glares.
