Sam Rodriguez Illustrates TV Characters in Contemporary Fashion

Primetime apparel.

In television, a characters wardrobe is sometimes more important than their dialogue. If they look stupid, chances are you won't pay attention to anything that they say. The wardrobe also becomes a part of the character (think Steve Urkel's suspenders, Bill Cosby's sweaters, Frank Rossitano's hats).

Using more current references than the dated pop culture we just tossed at you, Illustrator Sam Rodriguez took a few of today's leading men from the television world and re-imagined them sporting some of the hottest contemporary brands for Highsnobiety, matching the styles to each character's personality and actual fashion choices. In the illustrations Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman reps Carhartt WIP, Game of Thrones' Jon Snow pouts in Rick Owens, and Mad Men's Don Draper is draped in Band of Outsiders.
