Artist Ryan Everson's installation "Fear Expanded" is a meta piece that explores the state being afraid. He used wood and mirrors that form the actual word 'fear'. When placed in a landscape, as you can see above, if you face the piece head on it disappears. If you encounter it from a side approach, the project is visible.
The artist said, "My most recent work comes from abstract emotional states stirred up from specific self reflective moments. These moments arise as I become more aware of myself in the present and my inability to control the future."
