Because Art Basel is an international event, people from many different countries are waiting anxiously to see what it will offer. There's a lot of excitement over its new location in Honk Kong and people wonder if the works in the fair, which runs May 23-26, will be just as thrilling. The event is also very important for some who want to do business; art collectors wanna know what to expect while artists wanna know the competition.

This year art enthusiasts can expect a lot of diversity with about 245 of the world's best galleries showing off works. Damien Hirst, Murakami, and Yayoi Kusama are always knockouts, however there will also be newer talents presented in the fair. A new exciting change taking place this year will be occurring at the "Discoveries" sector of the fair. Usually home to the most experimental works of the fair, the area will offer a $25,000 prize to one of the solo and two-person exhibitions for best booth.

Above you can see some of the works that will be on display at the event that's being held at the waterfront Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. You can learn more about the fair here.
