Photographer Captures Birth in Parking Lot, Images Go Viral (Video)

She couldn't wait.

Photographs by Emily Robinson

Some expectant mothers hire photographers to capture the special event of their child's birth. Emily Robinson has photographed many deliveries in both hospital and homes. But recently she captured a moment she had never experienced before.

A mother couldn't quite wait to properly get into a hospital room to give birth and had to deliver her second baby in the parking lot. After a 25-minute car to the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, she couldn't wait another second. The photos have since went viral online and NBC even shot a segment on her nontraditional delivery.

You may wonder if the family minds that these kinda personal photos are now being seen all over, but they probably don't care. The mother, Amy Beth Cavaretta, and her husband, Joe Cavaretta are both photographers.

Amy said to New York Daily News, "[This] wasn’t the way we would have planned it. I had a fast labor with [first daughter] Sophia, only six hours, we all felt this would go a lot faster … but I didn’t expect it to go this fast."

We're not posting all the pictures here, but if you're curious you can see them all at this site. There's also a video below that explains more about the birth.
