Levi's and will.i.am's EKOCYCLE Team Up for Jeans Made From Plastic Bottles

Part of the Waste

Levi’s and EKOCYCLE both have the same goal of eco-friendly production in mind, which is to take waste and turn them into more useful materials. The denim giant has teamed up with the will.i.am founded company to introduce the EKOCYCLE + Levi’s 501 Waste<Less jean. Just imagine all those bottles inside the recycling bin turned into denim, because that’s exactly what it is. At least eight plastic bottles are used to make these bad boys along with a mix of other recyclables. See, your recycling efforts are not a waste of time. This is an addition to the Levi’s Waste<Less collection, the jean maker’s ongoing efforts on going green. Visit the Levi’s website to purchase.
