Yes, the Met Gala happened last night, but they may as well have called it the KimYe Gala. There was plenty of talk about the couple, for different reasons. Kanye West surprised everyone when he performed new music. There was also discussion about his outfits, both of which happened to be Givenchy. He walked the red carpet in a Riccardo Tisci-designed suit, and then changed into a studded shirt (reminiscent of the ones from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection, but was probably custom-made) with a matching kilt, leather pants, and a mask. You can always count on the rapper to keep things interesting.
