Colorful Installation Exposes the Potential of Art Behind Masking Tape

The promotion makes it clear what "mt" stands for.

A promotional exhibition by Iyama Design Studio in Sendai, Japan features an installation in an empty warehouse garage, decorated and filled entirely with masking tape. Created for mt, a Japanese masking tape company, the display includes thousands of rolls of colorful tape suspended from the ceiling and covering the walls and floors of the space. While previously you may have underestimated masking tape as simply utilitarian and boring, the spectrum of sticky colors may change your mind. As long as you don't catch on to one of the hanging tapes, you may be set on your own taping art adventure.
