The wardrobes fromDownton Abbey might seem old-fashioned, but with the booming menswear trend, the show has been viewed as quite stylish. So much so, that it is now coming out with its own clothing line, CNBCreports.

We've seen great (Brooks Brothers' The Great Gatsby collection) and indifferent (Banana Republic's Mad Men line) collections based off television shows and novels set in days of old. So there's definitely an appetite for the flare a Downton Abbey collection would deliver. Plus, tweed is awesome.

There's no word yet on what the collection will actually contain, but Carinval Films producer Gareth Neame revealed that it will be a whole line of merchandise. "We'll be working across an entire range of products coming out this year. From fashion, apparel and homeware and furniture to wallpapers, beauty products and stationary," Neame told the news organization.

We're not hopeful that the clothes will contain the Savile Row-mastery that British folks pride themselves in wearing, but then again, we'll have to wait and see.
