Perrier Sparkling Mineral Water will honor Andy Warhol with a new series of limited-edition bottles dedicated to his works this summer. Victoria Beckham revealed an image of the new bottle on her Instagram, and we're already excited.
In the 1980s, Warhol produced a series of screen prints of the Perrier bottle above. His intention was to explore brand symbols and the way customers interact with products. The new line, which includes seven different designs, will replicate these works in a specially-designed line and include quotes from the artist. Some wonderful lines include: “In the future everyone will be world famous for fifteen minutes," "Art is what you can get away with,” and “I have Social Disease. I have to go out every night.”
It's also worth mentioning that Perrier is holding a sweepstakes to win an original Warhol work as a part of the Take Home a Warhol contest. From June 24 to September 30 you can enter to win the original screenprint made in 1978, titled Space Fruit: Lemons.
