Valetin Ruhry Creates "Hello World" Light Sign at the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York

Austrians represent.

Austrian artist Valentin Ruhry has been around the block when it comes to exhibitions, and in 2011 the artist created a work titled "Hello World" due to its lack of an actual title for The Austrian Cultural Forum in New York. The installment uses a number of electrical switches that each act as its own light. The piece then transforms as its viewers interact with it. Is this a more sophisticated, adult version of Hasbro's Lite-Brite? Either way, we commend the idea and dig the interactive aspect.
