Fresh off a scoring title, Carmelo Anthony is currently leading the Knicks to an inevitable Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Heat, which is nothing to be ashamed of. Under Carmelo’s guidance, New York had their best season in more than a decade and, let’s be real, if you’re reading this you weren’t even born the last time the Knicks won a championship. A decade too has passed since Carmelo entered the league, and though this season has quieted many Melo critics, scoring titles and playoffs wins can’t erase his Google Image legacy.
Despite the recent media (read: Illuminati) push surrounding the NBA's fashion renaissance, it’s generally accepted that players are ignorant when it comes to dressing themselves, regardless of how gassed up they are their own skills. But I can, at the very least, applaud some for having “a thing,” or simply trying to be different. Melo, however, continues to flounder, just like how this particularly exciting Knicks roster eventually will. Let me bring you up to speed.
