Tonight is a special one at The Brooklyn Museum, an institution forever dedicated to celebrating and encouraging art and artists in Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Artists Ball kicks off this evening with tables designed by artists Njideka Akunyili, Daniel Arsham, Jules de Balincourt, FAILEJosé Parlá, Analia SegalLan Tuazon, and more, and these 40-foot-long tables will only be on view tonight.

Artists Vik Muniz, Wangechi Mutu, and Roxy Paine are being given the Asher B. Durand Award, and trustee Barbara Knowles Debs is being honored for aiding the museum in presenting groundbreaking exhibitions year after year. Artist Luis Gispert has planned the after party, so you know it will be a blast.

Buy tickets here starting at $1,000 per person for the dinner and $75 per person for the after party. Even if you can't attend, be sure to check out the El Anatsui exhibition before August 4.

Tweet us @complex_art if you want two free tickets to the after party before 3 p.m. EST! Make sure you're following us so we can DM you if you won.
