Canadian artist Simon Hugheswas commissioned by the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation to create a mosaic as the final piece of a renovation to the hospital located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The mural is extended across a 444-square-foot two-story glass atrium. In the video below, you can see how each tile was made, mapped, and placed by a machine from Artaic mosaic production. The project is meant to give light and hope to patients in need.
