San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Will Share Some of its Works During its Rennovation (Video)

California art fans were dealt a blow when the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) announced it would be closing on June 2 for almost two years of renovations and expansions. However, the museum has decided to share some of its art to allow people to experience their collection during the building process.

The Legion of Honor, a part of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, will exhibit some of the best of SFMOMA's works by Henri Matisse, beginning November 9. Also, 16 Matisse works, four sculptures, and three paper projects from SFMOMA will be on the ground-floor of the Legion. Learn more about the rennovations in the video below.
