British photographer Rob Hann documents the American Wild West in his series, Deserted States of America. Traveling through landscapes of states including Arizona, California, Texas, and Utah, he comes across road signs bearing random messages, abandoned things, and buildings in the middle of what seems like nowhere—including the Prada store in Marfa. Having grown up in a small British city, the photographer was attracted to these open terrains for their "silence, wonder and mystery."
