3D-printing has become incredibly popular and people are using the method to make a variety of items. London designer Ron Aradproduced a line of spectacles and sunglasses for eyewear brand pq using 3D-printing. Every frame is built completely from nylon powder using a method of selective laser sintering (SLS) technology, fashioning hinges out of grooves created in the material rather than having to add metal parts.
