Rob Pruitt has been exploring American pop culture since the early 90's, holding exhibitions across the globe. His works bravely dissects mainstream iconography, like his glitter panda series depicting the animals impersonating KISS or his Coca Cola can mislabled "Jesus Juice."

From May 3 to July 14, he will be holding his exhibit "Rob Pruitt: An American Folk Artist" at the Aspen Art Museum. It will be his first U.S. solo museum survey on view. The show will feature around 30 works that reflect the diversity of his talent as well as the spirit of his analysis of common symbols of consumerist society.
