For her series Daydreamers, Alexandra Sandu creates portraits of smiling people thinking happy thoughts. Simple enough, right? Not quite. Beginning in September 2009, the photographer has been capturing moments of blissful daydreaming as she asks her subjects to close their eyes and immerse themselves with pleasant thoughts. By collecting and sharing these images, Sandu hopes to spread smiles and positive energy.
