Nathan Mabry is a noted Los Angeles-based artist who just opened a show at Sean Kelly Gallery.Shapeshifter reflects the artist's longtime fascination with Chavin people of coastal Peru and their belief in the ability people have of transitioning between human and animal forms. He presents three new oversized terra-cotta heads that the artist sculpted by hand. The show will last until May 4.
