Now this is just disturbing. We hear about too-thin modelsModel scouts in Stockholm have reportedly been recruiting at (wait for it) an eating disorder clinic. According to the Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders, these scouts have been handing out business cards to patients, some of whom are as young as 14.
"We think this is repugnant," the clinic's chief doctor Anna-Maria af Sandeberg told Metro. "People have stood outside our clinic and tried to pick up our girls because they know they are very thin. It sends the wrong signals when the girls are being treated for eating disorders.”
Stockholm could learn a thing or two from Israel about passing a law banning too-skinny models.
