Italian architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas are the winners of a competition to change the central railway region of Bari, a city in southern Italy. Their winning proposal was to construct a three-kilometer-long elevated park that will sit over the track. The design, created by Fuksas and architect Jordi Henrich I Monràs, will offer stunning views of the city as well as the sea. It will also give Bari a brand new cultural center as well as a public library, exhibition space, municipal offices, and workshops for artists, actors and academics.
