Is Savile Row Going Corporate?

We've all heard about Savile Row and its importance not only to London, but menswear as a whole. Recently, Abercrombie & Fitch attempted to move into the home of cut-and-sew with vehement rejection. But what if the Row didn't have new residents, but new owners?

China's Fung family has been eyeing some of Savile Row's most vaunted tailor shops, and could possibly sell the goods to Wal-Mart, The Independentreports.

Last year, we saw Harris Tweed blazers being sold at the American mega-retailer, so are Middle Americans ready for the finest of British suits? We'll just have to wait and see.
