H&M Signs On to Design Uniforms for the Swedish Olympic Team

The Swedish retailer is also adding athletic gear to its collection.

The Olympic Games draw so much worldwide attention that it’s the perfect time for brands to offer sponsorships and rep for their home countries. The U.S. has Ralph Lauren, Italy has Prada, and France has Hermès just to name a few. Now the Swedes have their own sponsor with H&M—who else did you think it would be?

The Swedish retail-clothing company has signed on to a four-year contract that will provide uniforms for Team Sweden in the upcoming Olympic games. Styles will include for both on field and off-field events will be provided. By the looks of the mockups, Swedish athletes are going to be stunting on everyone. An expanded athletic line will also be offer in-store for customers to purchase starting January 2014.
