Fabien Nissels has created photo series Blocks by producing cubes featuring images of a friend's body parts. The Switzerland-based photographer captured his friend Johan's body parts from six different angles to correspond with the sides of a rectangular prism, then printed and placed the images onto polystrene blocks. The components were then taken to various outdoor and indoor locations to be put together in compositions hinting at renderings of 3D Cubism. Nissels comments, "‘There is no photoshop cheating, our modular man really went to all these places and always asked for souvenir pictures, except maybe the one when he was on the toilets."
