So get this: a senator from Vermont has also been doubling as an amateur photographer for a long time. By virtue of his position, you can imagine Senator Patrick Leahy gets to shoot pictures most never get the opportunity to. He has seen 10 inaugurations and has pictures as evidence. From Jimmy Carter forward, Leahy has been taking some wonderful presidential photography. Apparently his work is known in congressional circles, however it is ironic that he is from the very state that wants to ban most forms of public photography.
