Starting March 8, Germany-based artist Wolfgang Stiller will be presenting an exhibition titled Burnout at Zurich's Python Gallery. Whether the matchstick men are perfectly aligned against a wall or strewn in the coffin of a matchbox, these pieces are incredibly complex and expressive. The installation title is somewhat of a double entendre, referencing the "Burnout" of humans like the burning out of a match. Just as no match extinguishes in the same way, each matchstick depicts humanity's "burning out" differently.
