Michael Schmidt, student at The School of Visual Arts, recently released a series that gives an intimate view of commuters aboard The Staten Island Ferry. People of all kinds, whether they're absorbed with their children, lovers, or smart phones, share the same commute between the cities of Manhattan and Staten Island. Schmidt muses about his work, saying, "Although not all of our destinations are the same, we share this time together."
