On Sunday, March 24, the Seattle Art Museum(SAM) will be revealing a permanent art installation for the facade of the building. MIRROR, created by artist Doug Aitken that will become a new landmark in downtown Seattle. The installation is meant to embody the energy and movement of the city. MIRROR consists of a monumental LED display that surrounds the museums north-west corner. The building displays images from the street, which dissolve into longitudinal columns running down the building.
