This is all kinds of cool. The Image Toaster by Scott van Haastrecht searches the Internet for images related to the current day. Then it will toast a topical image on your piece of bread in a 6x6 pixelated image. As it shows in the video, if it is Valentine's Day, a heart will be toasted on your bread. The initial designs require the toaster to be plugged into a computer with a USB chord, but makers are looking into making the toaster work via wifi. It is still a prototype but everyone will want one if it is ever produced.
