In 1913, the United States of America Foot Ball Association formed. The first game (played three years later) took place in Stockholm and ended with a 3-2 victory over the Swedes.
Celebrating 100 years of organized soccer in the U.S., Nike's latest kit for the U.S. National teams draws inspiration from the original kit—including the 13 stars and 13 stripes motif and a deep V-neck. Technical features are, of course, more contemporary: Shirts are made with a minimum 96 percent recycled polyester.
